(K.6) Force, Motion and Energy
Overview
Kindergarten students use all five senses to observe light, heat and sound, as well as the interactions of magnets with various materials. They also observe and describe the position and movement of objects.

(K.6A) Forms of Energy
Students will use the five senses to explore different forms of energy such as light, heat, and sound.

(K.6B) Magnets
The student will explore interactions between magnets and various materials.

(K.6C) Location of Objects
The student will observe and describe the location of an object in relation to another such as above, below, behind, in front of, and beside.

(K.6D) Movement and Motion
Observe and describe the ways that objects can move such as in a straight line, zigzag, up and down, back and forth, round and round, and fast and slow.
