    Plant Adaptations

Lessons in this section introduce students to adaptations that help plants survive and reproduce in different environments. Some adaptations are structural, such as leaf shape or flower size and color. Other adaptations are related to growth and other functions, such whether a plant can tolerate hot, dry conditions or the timing of seed production.
